My Pharmacist was dealing with this for our local PCT until last year when the rules for EHT changed. The first thing we had to in counseling is offer to contact a parent. Under 16's have often been referred by the school nurse, or the Youth support group or even dragged in by another school friend. They are usually petrified of their parents and the last person they want to see is their mother or father. These girls are not usually from troubled families surprisingly and just know their parents still look at them as their 'little princess'.
Yes - stopping the night before in an Ideal World would perfect, but who can put their hand on their heart and say they did the right thing, every time?

Totally in support, many of our clients from the Addictions clinic come into this category. I see the mental mess they become.
