heh. I may be a cheapskate sometimes, but a blender is one thing I definitely use everyday, for all sorts of things. so it's actually something I need.
I'm thinking of going with a hand blender, since how it seems to have so many pros, such as the fact that it would save me from having to wash a lot of dishes and the like. the only downside is that it's super loud when dealing with ice... but since I'm deaf, that isn't exactly a problem for me. unless it's at an loud pitch that even deaf people can hear....
