This bitch is taking her time getting here. We're bored out of our minds right now but on a good note, even if the electric goes out later, we're having steak dinners. Gas cook-top will work with the power out 
I've been through quite a few hurricanes and I've never seen one take such a long time to crawl up the coast. I think they said it spent 21 hours in the Carolinas and it's barely reached the Del Marva now.
I was thinking of those poor wild ponies on Chincoteague Island
There's really no shelter for them and most of their home is on beach and swamp grass lands.
I just want this over with now, it's beginning to bore me.
