Well whatta ya know......things took a massive turn for the better today!
I called in to the offfice while on the way down to the truck and they told me the load I ws supposed to haul was cancelled. Now at this point I was expecting the BIG bone but, they said there was a trailer loaded and ready going straight down to Elizabeth and to grab an empty back. That shortened the day considerably! On top of that, when I got to Elizabeth there was an empty just sitting there waiting for me!!!!! I left just before 3 O'clock and that put me JUST ahead of the madness that is I-78 westbound in the afternoon/evening.
Bottom line......I got here to the house at 7:05 and tomorrow's load will put me back in the groove for the rest of the week!
