Regarding the subject of using geothermal energy as an alternative that "The Earth is several million degrees just acouple of miles down".
What????? Golly gee.....I suppose the miners who extract coal, bauxite, salt and other various minerals are totally flameproof then.
Now considering that the temperature of the surface of the sun is between 5,000 and 9,500 degrees F depending on who you ask and their measurement method, just how the hell can there be temps in the millions of degrees just a couple miles below the surface of the earth?
If Sarah Palin would have said this the press would have had a field day calling her stupid and clueless! But since it's their Capt. Planet hero, nothing is said.
