Twisteroo Toyota sounder like my uncle Trooper, which my aunt decide was a death trap and called to have it towed away (and my uncle paid the man to leave it). It was hiding in the 'Scary Barn' last I heard.
Only ever had brake fade twice when I was driving. Once just after I'd not long passed my test, went round a double bend and into a ditch. The engine still running I looked at the dash to see a light just come on to tell me the brakes had just failed
Had to walk back to camp and get a Army truck to pull me out.
Then I was going to work (same car) 15 years later and came off the roundabout onto the dual carriage way to find a juggernaut stationary at a new set of pedastrian lights. Everything goes in slow motion doesn't it?
As I was aware of no brakes suddenly (they were ok at the last junction) and grabbed the handbrake to slide hopefully with a gentle impact into the back, the lorry bagan to pull forward! So by the time I slowed to a stop the juggernaut was out of my way
So I carried on just on the handbrake to work, put in full day (after strong tea and Rescue Remedy) and drove back on the handbrake. Shoved the car in the drive and chocked it up until a friend came over to fix it.
*The brake light came on when I parked up at work, 6 miles later.
