Now we have all talked about this before. The desperate need of retailers to dart straight from labor day to Christmas.

However this year we made it too Halloween and have skipped Thanksgiving in the shops. This wouldn't normally be an issue but I was looking for fall type items. oops WE skipped that. I haven't had a damn bite of Turkey or Pumpkini anything and I walked into the store and they are playing silver bells 3 days ago. Really?

Fortunately I checked YES Turkeys are still being sold. I was begining to wonder if it would be pumpkin pizza for dinner this holiday?

Now is this a result of retailer desperation or a longing for the general hope Christmas is suppose to bring?

Good one Bar. I do agree with you on this. We‘ve looked for some good Thanksgiving clings & all you find is Christmas!
Yeah I love Christmas, but people are just rushing it too fast!

A rush is just that. Zoom here it is... Now financially a lot of people rush into this holiday with spending. Lay out far too much and dig out for far too long. Not in this household if it isn't paid for you don't get it. Simple concept. However, with the state of the country, ie the world also. Are we hedging our bets and hope? More and more face=crap is turning into a poster child for christianity love hope and smarmyness. To a degree that is so disgusting that you want to puke People are rattling off what they are THANKFUL for each day including husbands who are on the verge of leaving them. Say Whaat? So are they Hopeful for returning to what they once had or a conceived of utopia that many in politics and religion promise them but will not happen? Yet many set themselves up for failure. Strange.
