Reading the paper report, his second wife left him some time ago because he had a drink and drug problem. His family in Ireland left messages on the answer phone, but never thought it strange he never replied or never got hold of him.

Someone in comment said, much what I thought when I read it, why hadn't any of the utility bills brought up outstanding debts. Bailiffs should have been there ages ago!
Even now (nearly 25 years) we get a man from the Water Board knock on our door in the summer because we haven't paid a standing sewage charge bill, which arrives around about now stating we owe £00.00. At least that man knows we are still alive.
He never wants to inspect our septic tank.

That's a really cool photo too. We got nothing like that here in the night sky. Too many lights from the cities, even by the beach.
