Here ya go Twitch - LKTraz - 12-31-2017 Your new dream Mustang? https://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/classic-recreations-gt500cr-900s-mustang/gallery/#/1-11 RE: Here ya go Twitch - Biker Dude - 12-31-2017 Personally I was never very fond of the Eleanor cosmetic mods. RE: Here ya go Twitch - Twitchin Kitten - 01-01-2018 I've seen this one. It's OK, but I'd rather spend my money on an original not a replica. I did see this on Offer UP and i'm seriously considering having a look. I can buy that cash right now and still have enough to buy something new. Not fond of white though, but the price is unbeatable. I messaged her to see if it's still for sale and if the mileage is original or on a new restored engine and other questions. Close by so I may go look at it. https://offerup.com/item/detail/335968338/?ref=MyOffersBuying RE: Here ya go Twitch - Twitchin Kitten - 01-01-2018 And then there's this one... but it's yellow ![]() https://offerup.com/item/detail/281830454/?ref=BoardDetail RE: Here ya go Twitch - LKTraz - 01-01-2018 Found a site that has a national listing of Mustangs for sale. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-Ford-Mustang-d2 Here it is adjusted for a 200 mile radius from Seaside Heights https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/viewDetailsFilterViewInventoryListing.action?sourceContext=&newSearchFromOverviewPage=true&inventorySearchWidgetType=AUTO&entitySelectingHelper.selectedEntity=d2&entitySelectingHelper.selectedEntity2=&zip=08751&distance=200&searchChanged=true&engines=V8&modelChanged=false&filtersModified=true RE: Here ya go Twitch - Biker Dude - 01-01-2018 Not a fan, the handling on those was sub par. Way to wallowy... RE: Here ya go Twitch - Twitchin Kitten - 01-05-2018 OMG love this green one. https://us.letgo.com/en/i/ford-mustang-1966_38cd4512-7f50-402c-a565-6f3584793f7c https://us.letgo.com/en/i/ford-mustang-1969-convertible_843e2548-805b-4695-b055-edfdda6b4cd3 RE: Here ya go Twitch - Twitchin Kitten - 01-05-2018 Found this today. Going to look at it on Tuesday. I'm very much on the fence about it only because it's a 2011 and not newer. https://www.montclairmotorcar.com/2011_Ford_Shelby%20GT500_Montclair_NJ_13856560.veh# RE: Here ya go Twitch - LKTraz - 01-06-2018 It has extremely low mileage for a 2011. Based on 6 years (since it just turned to 2018) it's only averaged 2,500 miles per year. It looks like it was damn sure garage kept. I think it was a nice weekend-local-car shows-OMG there's a dust speck on the roof-never saw rain-the garage is 72 degrees and humidity controlled-here wear these Tyvek bootie shoe covers in the car situation. I used to work in the reconditioning bay of a car dealership back in 1978/1979 and I know the difference between recon and baby-kept and this one looks like it was baby-kept. If you go look at it in person, the biggest tell is the pedal pads. Look to see if there is 1. Any uneven wear and 2. evidence of dirt/dust/discoloration/cleaning marks in the grooves. Absence of them would be either a baby or replaced with brand spankin' new (but those would have a dull almost sticky look). RE: Here ya go Twitch - Biker Dude - 01-06-2018 Typically on a car like that, those miles seem normal. Not many people buy that as a DD, or for a long commute. I looked at a couple dozen 2011 GT500's, and this one is actually a bit on the higher side for miles. Prices are all right in that same range as well. I would also completely expect it to be kept inside. In unusual cases I have even seen people that store stuff like this inside positive pressure bags inside the garage. A little extreme, but there are those people. |
