Colorado ski town legalizes pot - Vizth Hal - 11-04-2009 Original post http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20091103/us-marijuana-legalization/ Quote:DENVER — The Colorado ski town of Breckenridge has voted overwhelmingly to legalize marijuana. I hope they do this in Tennessee soon, probably not tho, to many old ppl in charge XD RE: Colorado ski town legalizes pot - ralgith - 11-04-2009 We just need to stop making it a crime to use "controlled" substances. If people want to fuck up their own bodies, more power too 'em. Just make all drugs like cigarettes. Huge tax on them and all. RE: Colorado ski town legalizes pot - Twitchin Kitten - 11-04-2009 Vizzy, too many "old people" in charge have nothing to do with it. You gotta make the changes you want as a young person and get out there and vote! Run for office, work for a political party's office. Work for a politician. Apply for a civil service job in town. Get in on the ground floor and make changes. If you're ('you' as in the general broad sense) content to think your vote does not count, then you should be content to abide and not complain what others think and do for you. As a US citizen, you CAN make your own bill and stuff the hopper in your state AND D.C. and yeah, pot should be decriminalized - should never have been on a 'controlled' substance list. People have been addicted to some kind of substance or another since caveman times. Making it illegal hasn't stopped it. So you heard what happened to the Chief Science officer to the Government over here then? He said Alcohol and Cigarettes were more dangerous to the nations health than marijuana. He got sacked. RE: Colorado ski town legalizes pot - Twitchin Kitten - 11-04-2009 Alcohol and cigarettes ARE more dangerous to everyone. It's just that the government makes too much money off them to make them illegal. |
