I see it a lot on stories where teachers were fired for being naughty by running a porn website on their days off, or just downright breaking the law by sleeping with students.
and by "it", I mean the comments from morons stating things like: "Hot damn! where were those teachers at when I was a kid?! I would had so hit that!" or even worse: "I really envy that kid! he's soooo lucky!!"
They don't seem to realize how creepy and stupid their comments seem to be. It's one thing to see those women as adults and have this fetish for sexy teachers seducing them.
But they don't realize that if they had literally been only 10-14 years old, they maybe wouldn't had felt the same way about those teachers. think about it-- when you're a young kid, you aren't exactly ready for a lot of things, and having sex with an older adult who you instinctively trust as an authority figure can fuck you up in so many ways.
it doesn't matter if the older adult is hot, attractive, etc... I think it still would hurt them more than they realize. also, even with the teenage hormones making guys horny I don't think every single one of them would be so eager to jump into bed with a teacher, espeically if they had strong enough morals to actually want their sex to be meaningful in relationships, and not just laying with every random chick/guy they see.
They would probably want to sleep with somebody who had actually something in common with them... like somebody who were the same age as them and liked the same bands. so then sleeping with some adult who were almost old enough to be their mom and had nothing in common with them, would do nothing for the kid at all.
so if they heard that this adult teacher slept with one of their classmates, I don't think their first reaction would be: "hot damn! I should had hit that!" but more like: "wow, didn't see that coming. isn't she the same age as my mom too? ewwwww....."
of course, there may be a few teenage boys who had crushes on their female teachers, who would had jumped at this chance. But to imply or even think that ALL teenage boys are salivating horn-dogs who doesn't mind being taken advantage of by manipulative older women is doing the male gender a disservice, and espeically belittling what male rape victims go though.
so for those reasons, I tend to think that such jokes are not only stupid and creepy.... they're just downright inappropriate.

I would think that would be the first reaction of most men. I mean, sex is pretty high up on the list of importance for men and as a horny teenage adolescent who probably spent a vast amount of time masturbating, screwing a teacher would seem like a great alternative to self satisfaction.
I tend to ignore people that make dumb comments than get worked up about it.

well, sex is pretty high up there on the list for some women too. I was super-horny as a teenage girl and engaged in a lot of self-sasitication myself. I had a massive crush on this hunky male teacher as a girl.
so years later as an adult myself, if I heard that some teenage girl got into an "relationship" with a hot hunky male teacher that looked similar to the male teacher I used to fantasize about, would it be in bad taste for me to say things simlar to what the men up above said?
"You slept with somebody that hot?! Way to go girl... I used to have a fantasy like that, but it came true for you. I'm so envious! pfft! so what if he's a married guy who was just using you?? you still scored big time! you shouldn't had reported his ass... you could had kept on riding that hot dick. what, you got raped? how could you be unwilling with somebody who was THAT attractive-looking? what is wrong with you?!"
the men pretty much will only understand if some male victim reported some fugly fat woman. If the woman happens to be at least moderately attractive, then they tend to blame the victim more than the woman... saying that he had to be gay or retarded enough to not want it at all from an attractive woman.
never mind that looks aren't enough for some men. some men simply just don't want to have sex with total strangers, or mere associates like teachers who they see each day but barely know much about.
No, ALL males are just horny scumbags who don't mind getting abused as long as they get laid, eh?
I know I shouldn't let it get to me... but I've heard this comment so many times that it's just rubbing me the wrong way. plus I know this guy who was raped by female dorm conslers at summer camp when he was very young. it was at an age where he hadn't even hit puberty yet, and thus was too young to even want sex. he didn't speak to anybody about it for a long time, mainly because he knew that instead of understanding what he went though, his male friends would only congratulate him for having lost his virginity at an absurdly young age. and he didn't want to be congratulated for having gone though an non-consensual experience.

I understand that not all males may want such sexual attention and or were forced into those situations by these females against their will. That is wrong and they should be punished, However there were alot of teens when I was in high school that would have gladly got with some of our teachers if they had the chance. It wasn't like they weren't sexually active, the difference would have been instead of getting with a girl their age 15-16 years old it would have been a older female. Thats why you hear the hey I wish I was that kid comments alot around these stories.

I think as a teen girl, I definitely would have gotten in a relationship with a teacher.
When I was 17 I had a massive make out session (no sex) with a guy who was around 35. I didn't feel taken advantage of at the time, but yes, looking back now it does seem creepy. I don't regret it, matter of fact it's a fond memory because I felt so attractive and sexy from the attention he gave me. But as a woman and mother now, I would FREAK if some old guy came onto my young daughter.
I do get that not ALL men feel that way about it and if it was a young girl and an older guy you can bet it is more frowned upon. I just think those comments alot of times are made flippantly and without alot of thought. ya know?

Almost when ever my hubby and his school friend get together the subject of 'Miss Shave' the Art teacher appears.
They admit they would have run a mile with embarrassment if she thought the same about them as they did, but the fantasy was there.
Paul went to the school reunion and was disappointed to find she wasn't there. His wife said just as well really the fantasy would have popped seeing her at 60 in 'surgical' stockings.

I think Gunnen has a good point with regard to gender differences and lines of thinking. When not taken to extremes such as big fugly women or the boy being PRE teen, a majority of boys would jump at the chance to add that "notch to their belt".
The guys who make the comments like AM stated simply haven't matured much beyond that point.

When I was in high school, there were several boys and girls having sex with the teachers. No one cried rape like they do these days and most times the kids were just as initiative as the adults. Many teachers are in their early twenties and a 17 year old isn't too young when they look like they're the same age. My ex looked like he was nearing 30 by the time he finished school.
The only person who got in trouble was Mr. Cohen when he approached the wrong girl. He had the misfortune of starting out with Cookie Jones, who was known to fuck anything and anyone that moved. When she graduated, he moved in on other girls and he got the wrong one. She ran off and hit her head and she reported him. I was there to bring her home and help her out. She came to me all freaked out. She was terrified. I guess he took it that all girls were like Cookie. Not.
Yes it's wrong for an adult to take advantage of kids like that but to me it seems that a lot of boys are playing victim for any variety of reasons. Fame, money, revenge? Who knows? All I know is when it came to this kind of stuff when I was a kid, it was like LK and Gunnen said, notches and male pride they banged the hot teacher.
I don't think the kids these days are simply getting caught. There has to be more to it.
