Bloody cat - literally - Twitchin Kitten - 07-03-2011 So it's nearly 1AM and we are in the vet ER with Iggy. The damn cat decided to hemmorage from his mouth at midnight. So he is staying so they can sedate the uncooperative little bastard and have a good look. RE: Bloody cat - literally - twisteroo - 07-03-2011 Hope he is OK, Twitch. 1am Sunday probably costs more than say 11am on a Tuesday. How's he doing Twitch? RE: Bloody cat - literally - Twitchin Kitten - 07-03-2011 Got a call an hour ago. He'll be fine. He had an infected molar that shattered, literally and burst on him. I had no idea he even had molars left. I thought he only had that one fang, which was loose and they took that out too. They were swamped last night. Dog was just put under for surgery when we walked in the door. Poor thing had some kind of abscess burst in his eye. Dr. Laura wasn't in last night either. I expect a $700 bill for this one. Laura would have given me a big deduction. RE: Bloody cat - literally - LKTraz - 07-03-2011 Oh poor kitty! Just what he needs......one less tooth. Poor guy. RE: Bloody cat - literally - Twitchin Kitten - 07-03-2011 He has no teeth now. No teeth to hold it in anymore. Poor guy is still stoned out of his head from the pain killers and surgery. We were going to go out for awhile but he's requiring a two person babysitting. RE: Bloody cat - literally - twisteroo - 07-04-2011 Glad to hear the he will be OK. Sorry to hear about the bill though. |
