Slugs Return From Capistrano Day-- It’s a little known secret that slimy slugs spend their winters in lovely Capistrano, and return to our patios and gardens on this date. Bare feet are not a good idea. -- Huh, the slugs have been back here for weeks. almost stepped on one in my bare feet letting the dog out the other night... ewww

It's the start of Memorial Day weekend here.
The Navy is in town (Fleet Week) since Wednesday and the Bennies have hit the shore early.
