Yeah baby, summer is here!
Pool is open and by the weekend it should be up to temperature for swimming.
Chemicals are perfectly balanced.
I'm all kinds of tan already.
Waiting for the sun to go down a bit so I can do the small things in the yard like put out the chairs, wind chimes and tables. Pool cover is in the driveway scrubbed and drying so it can be put away.
I'm going to take out the electric fence charger and run a wire around the bottom of the fence. Fucking ground hog keeps digging tunnels and holes and he is NOT welcome here!
Trip to the equine supply tomorrow for insulators and I'm all set.

Monday got sunburnt
Tuesday got frostbite
So OK, I had to put my fisherman jumper on to go outWednesday April showers!

Hot, cold, hot again, temperate, wet, wet, wet, cold, warm, cold and warm in the same day!
*sigh* You know you're in Pennsylvania if you think nothing of using the heat and air conditioner both in the same day.

So we go into the city for the morning and are thinking what to have for lunch. Katz's Deli - nothing fancy, nothing expensive.
We get a pastrami and a corned beef sandwich and I order 4 knishes to take home. Friggin bill was $52
Used to eat there all the time when I lived in the city and it never cost like that. Damn downtown is so full of yuppies and hipsters it's sickening now.
I have not had a good knish since the 80's. We have half a sandwich each left over and the knishes. Dinner

You ever have one of those weeks that start out real shitty and by the end of the day the rest of the week turns into total awesomeness?
I am having a great week and it's only Tuesday. I don't care that something may need a repair in the house or that some stupid chick is out in the street cleaning her car blasting the Spanish music. Nope. Not today.
Everything is falling nicely into place.
