I'm reviving this thread since I get up at 4 AM nearly every day with Matt.
I've nothing profound to say. It's 5:40 and I'm already almost done with my household chores. Just have to feed the cats. I may go for a bike ride before it gets oppressive out there again.

Where have you people been? You all hiding in caves keeping cool from this heat?
I'm not finding it as oppressive as the news is bitching about, but I live by the water so I have a lovely ocean breeze and the pool is delicious.
Stalker boy has now not bothered me for a full 25 days now. Not a peep. Not even a lurk on this site looking to steal content. It's quite a relief too but I am 99% sure I know the reason why and if I am wrong, then a new circle of Hell is soon going to be created for him.

Ive just been busy working, today I got some free time so I cleaned my guns from the last range visit took the pressure washer out of storage and tried to get it running to clean side of house and shiz. All I got for my efforts was oil on the driveway,heat exhaustion and a drenched T shirt.

I got a new windshield on the mustang and sat by the pool all day. I love this heat!
Everyone's been awfully quiet this week.
I need to get to the range again. It's been awhile and not using my membership is wasteful.

Holy crap! Where did summer go? I would be thrilled at this weather if I lived farther north or had no air conditioning, but it's so cold the last 2 1/2 weeks the pool is not even warm enough to swim in!

I've been up for an hour already. It's 55º outside in freakin' August. It's been a cold summer except for one week in July. I can't even go for an early morning swim because the pool water is below 70º. No I don't have a heater on it.
WTF? Next person I hear bitching that August is the hottest month of the year needs a slap. It's NEVER hotter than July. Never. It even smells like September outside.
