I am back from the torturer. Another session of pain in two weeks.

Are you drooling on yourself Twitch?

Week two of dad being with us. Week one-ready to slit my wrists. Week two-I gave him a bath and it didn't even phase me. Go figure.

I feel for ya, Jammin. I don't think I can do what you're doing. My brother is going to be the one stuck with her when she's in need of care - she is taking care of him all this time (he's 43) so we all feel the bum gets to return the favor.

Heh, up 3 hours early for work again.
Man, the best part of my day is the bicycle ride in. One of these mornings I'm gonna carry my camera and take a few pics along the way.

What's really funny is he rags on me for not "having a job". I haven't been home, not even for a day since May 1978.
I left home while still in school and haven't looked back, even when hard times hit. But he's mommy's baby and can do no wrong. He hasn't left home yet. He forgets all the years I held 'regular' jobs and in his opinion my disabilities keeping me from working are no excuse.

I for one would like to see them if you do take some. Do you ride through heavy city traffic or long country roads?
If I had to bike to work here I'd be terrified. It's gotten so congested and the people just drive like lunatics on the morning commutes here. Many roads are not even bicycle friendly and most are high speed highways here once you're out of a development.

If I had to ride a bike to work I'd pass out. Smile

Why?
Too far?
Up hill?
Down hill Shock!
flat tyres?
I know.....the only bike you have doesn't have wheels but a pulse mionitor?

No point get the bike out for work, although there is a cycle path down the hill by the house there is usually pushchairs coming up. Then there is a 1:8 hill to climb and I'm at work. Coming back I could get a good speed up but then there is the 1:10 through the pushchairs again Kez
I walk, I see people, I say hello. Everyone knows me and I've been told some people in the road I walk up twice a day set their watch by me. I collect prescriptions from residents who look out for me, I pop in and drop them off if I know they are really poorly.

I will have to make it a point to carry my camera soon. I actually ride all back roads, corn fields, hay, cows, and houses and stuff.
When I was going in at 5am and catching the sunrise there were times after climbing this one hill I had actually stopped to gawk for a few minutes, but I would always at least give a look over my shoulder to see the sun breaking over the horizion.
