It was an absolutely gorgeous day outside today.
Pops is in town now and staying with me for now. Takes about 3 hours to go through the morning routine, and then gave him a haircut, changed his clothes, and did a bunch of other stuff I need not mention......
My 14 yr old came home from school after puking in the hallway at school. Poor custodian.

I'm exhausted.
I opened the pool.
Spread grass seed and watered the patches where I seeded.
Pulled out some old garden hose reels and chucked them.
Picked up dog crap in the yard.
Weeded my lily bed.
Uncovered the BBQ grill and got grossed out.
Cut several dead limbs off my Rose of Sharon trees.
Sprayed round up all over the front "lawn" (we've got rocks not grass).
Cooked dinner.
Watched House and 24 and now getting ready to go comatose for the night.

I scored another Tuesday off, up at 4:30, drinking too much coffee and hanging out.
I love having Tuesdays off, there is no finer day of the week to be off work, it's not all congested with other people not working, drinking, listening to bands, attending sporting events, etc.
You know I can go to wa-mart at 7am on a Tuesday and not have to wait in line, weekends off are for suckers.

I agree! I stay off roads and out of stores on weekends. I've always had my off days in the middle of the week when I worked "real" jobs. I loved it that way.
I busted my ass yesterday and today it's freezing and rainy. Go figure - opening the pool = rain and cold.

Weekdays off are OK to a certain point, but sometimes it's nice to hit a weekend.
What does get me though is at work I hear assholes all the time bitching about not ever getting a weekend off. I sit there every fucking weekend wondering where they are though.
