This lovely mourning dove nests each year in my grape arbor. Sadly, these birds build the worst nests and I always find her eggs broken on the ground.

I turned down an interview... I started thinking that the new job would encompass all the things I find most irritating about my current job times a million. I try to keep my life as calm and stress-free as possible and I could see the promotion causing me serious health issues. Money or peace of mind... no contest.

Clap at those noisy bastards, it will scare them away. I dunno why, but if you clap you hands they don't like it and leave.Clap

Good for you...serously.
I mean fuck it, why bother if you really don't need to? And the people that need to, just to try to be better than someone else or whatever their power trip is, fuck them too.

Did you get photos? Have you ever been to the Channel Islands? I'm on an email list to receive tourist literature for Guernsey and just looking at the photos makes me sigh and get all wistful.

No, I'd even be in the same work area but it would involve attending all the god damn meetings where they rake us over the coals for late production, etc and a LOT more customer contact. Basically nag, nag, nag by upper management. It's bad enough at my level as it is.

they expose customers to YOU? Shock Hysterical

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twilla - 04-10-2010

Trust me, I avoid them as much as possible. When I say 'customers', I mean the other bases that send aircraft to us. So I'm talking to another fed employee, just in another job series and possible one grade higher. They're no more competent than I am. Crazy
