Try the pine pellets. It takes a little getting used to but they are fantastic. You still get tracking though.
I had to do the same thing with the littermaid. I have a brand new one in the box and the one I fired downstairs.
I gotta change out the litter today. I'll take pics of the tracking I got here from overnight, the used bits and the new pellets going in and describe the whole process again. We chatted about this in the pointless thread but a fresh, easy to find thread in here seems to be warranted.
