It really is important that you reward Matt for being such a saint. Friends

It had nothing to do with rewarding him for anything. He's not a pet nor a saint. It was dinner. I always cook good food.

I work in a building that repairs hydraulic aircraft parts, so people dress in jeans, etc. One of the young female mechanics got a secretary job in another building but has come back to visit a couple of times and she was in on Wednesday wearing a very short, very tight black dress with towering platform shoes, her hair dyed black, scrunched up with a lot of gel and had on a shitload of make up. Since I was used to seeing her look kind of tomboyish with brown hair, minimal make up and jeans, I had no freaking idea who she was so I stopped and asked one of the many, MANY groups of guys that were standing around staring at her. When they said who it was, I was shocked and said so then blurted "why's she dressed like a hooker?"

Both guys walked away from me in disgust without saying anything.

I guess that *was* a rude question, but she wasn't dressed like any secretary I've ever seen outside of a gangster movie. This is Utah, FFS. Was my question that out of line? More out of line than walking around in an industrial area looking like a prostitute?
