Fantastic! As always. Biggrin Unfortunately I ate too much! Make that WE ate too much.

If you try my recipe let me know how it comes out.

Pasta is the easiest thing to whip up when you have to make a lot of it for a lot of people. Cheat with the sauce - Ragu. Cheapest one and no one will know the difference because most people eat jarred sauce anyway.

Oh, and the funny thing is I have every single ingredient in my pantry or the refrigerator except for the pork!

I cheated and bought that half and half package in the store. That's what gave me the idea to make it in the first place and when I saw the lingonberries, it was a done deal.

Check that fruit in the can aisle for it. It comes in a jar, Felix brand - they look like this:

This picture looks like it's jelly but it's not. It's actually whole berries in a thick berry "sauce".

You can buy them on Amazon.com too if you're totally stuck! Ikea food section has them too if you're near an Ikea.

The closest thing would be boysenberries or sweetened cranberries - but not that jelly crap! If you're going to make it next week, just order them from Amazon and they'll be there in time.

Hubby says they have them at Whole Foods. He is a Whole Foods Whore.....and the most amazing cook ever. Saturday night he made the most delicious New York Steak with a decadent Merlot Peppercorn Sauce. Omg. I love this man.

I have never heard of them. But Swedish meatballs sounds delish. I want to come to your house for dinner. Smile

You've never heard of Swedish meatballs? Shock

No, the dingleberries. hehhee I mean whatever those berries were.

I just took an Excedrin. I think it's allergies though. Headaches suck. All pain sucks actually. TK, have you ever tried Imitrex? I used to have a script for it and it worked great.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 03-25-2010

Imitrex sucks if you have headaches for more than 1 day at a time. It'll bounce them back every 4 hours. I also got 3 of the bad side effects from it. I use Zomig and Esgic plus combined. We got weather coming. I guarantee rain is coming and I'm correct every time.

My headaches have lasted as long as 12 days at a clip. Most times it's an average of 4.

Oh and Lingonberries are native of Sweden. They're wild berries in the forests there.
