Office stupidity day part - shit I lost count.
So I'm driving up to my GP's office for a now required blood test to take an MRI with contrast. They changed the contrast agent and now people seem to be allergic to it in droves.
While I'm driving, the ortho's office calls and the poor woman is pissed. 3 days of getting a run around from the people she needs to get authorization from has her very frustrated. She's been bounced around from one manager to the next. She calls me telling me this and I said to myself, "Lemme call the insurance company and sort it out before I go inside."
15 minutes on the phone and this bitch Ladonna tells me that no one from the ortho's office called to get an authorization. BULLSHIT. and I told them so. I flat out gave that woman a ration of shit they were not prepared for and hung up with threats of suing for refusal of care.
So I leave a message on Donna's machine telling her I'll call her after I'm out of the doc's office.
Doc cooks up a scheme to write the same 'scripts for me so we can work around the bullshit hoping it works out that way. She rules! Oh and it's another new doc for my primary care. I'm switching to her for permanent. I like her. She even verified that this company is known for calling anyone and everyone a liar.
So round and round I go and five mins ago I get a call from the orthos office with approvals. Apparently Donna got a normal human being on the line and got it done.
So now, wish Matt luck for getting that job. If he gets it, it's got premo insurance and they pay a 70/30 split even for a family plan which they will allow me on even though we're not married.
I can't take this bullshit anymore. Besides, the job is a really cool one that he wants with much more money as time goes on. Basically it's a career and not a job.
