He won't win with that claim against the military. He has to prove whatever he did while he was in caused it. If he's 350+ pounds you know that's the cause of all his skeletal aliments. Keep us updated! This guy has certainly become "popular" around TK.com!

Tonight is Chick Peas and Macaroni night! Proud

Tomorrow it's Apple Stir Fried Pork

It still pisses me off that this guy was called a go-getter to my lazy bitch by 'someone'.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 02-27-2012

That's because "someone" was too busy not understanding what you actually said and made up his own story.

And that right there is why he did it.

Your special friend obviously couldn't accurately judge a hammer falling on his own toe, let alone something as complex a situation as this. Or the proper use of pepper spray. Hence he was trolling you is all. The only power he had is what you gave him.

I know you're right, I just wasn't expecting to be trolled here.

I'll take some responsibility in allowing that to happen. I apologize as well.

He will spend sooooo long trying to get a military pension by the time they decide he has a claim he will be too old to benefit and it will get taxed - hopefully Wink

My dad has a war pension.
He still doesn't know how he got it to this day. It started when he was going deaf at the end of his Police career. The Police sent him for a hearing test and the consultant asked him about his family history. True, Auntie Beat' went deaf and so was my Gran's mother at a young age. He saw dad was serving on Christmas Island during the Atom bomb test in 1958. Dad told him he was there for 2 tests and he was working in the offices for the engineers testing the Rolls Royce aircraft engines.
Next thing he knew was a letter from London saying he was getting a pension for neglect of care by the RAF. The consultant decided he would write to the RAF and complain my dad was given no hearing protection during his service and this he believed had brought about premature hearing loss.

The answer appears if you make a claim yourself, it will get ignored, even if you go to a doctor and ask for a letter. Don't ask the doctor and he appeals on your behalf....and it gets approved!

Military benefits are free from taxes in the United States. Anyhow, this is a sad case of how the military welfare system gets out of control when a ton of leeches make for the blood source.

He'll likely get it, while some fella who gets his leg shot to shit will only get like 20% or something. Seen it happen many times like this. It's all fucked.

Yep. I worked with a woman that spent a few years in the Army, got out, developed endometriosis (which tends to be hereditary), wrote up her VA paperwork and ended up getting 50% medical for the rest of her life... tax free. She "retired" from federal employment before she was 50, also on a medical. She owns her house, I rent an apartment.

I have NO idea how that works.
