This weekend is supposed to be snow bound....well it was, just not here
It really peed down with rain though, so hard and cold we decided not to go out to FiveWays to see the tribute Meatloaf.
Today was also suppose to snow,
, cold only -4C better than the last week running around -6 to -10. So after baking cakes and Mark applying for a job in the 'Forest' twice, we went to The Lord Nelson pub on the quay to listen to Ogri and The CafeRacers playing some Rock'n'Roll .Never done that on a Sunday before

They went for a test drive Sunday afternoon. They broke down in the underpass of the dual-carriageway about 3 miles from home.
I got the call 'Muuuuuummmmmm, bring the power pack and some water'
When I got there old neighbours were helping and the car was fixed. It was nice to see Jim and Jan since they moved away.
Monday
Dee 'I saw Mark in your old blue car yesterday coming off the slip road'
Mr H 'I saw your husband in that old Saab of yours at the traffic lights, when my daughter collected me for lunch'
Mr B 'I saw your old Saab in the underpass, from the bus, were you alright?'
Mr D 'My son told me he saw an old Saab like we used to own, was it you?'
Mr F 'Did I see you out in your car on Sunday?
This is one of the biggest conurbations in the south out side London...... there are no secrets, like living in a tiny village!

So... yesterday I had a hell of a toothache, the worst of my life (I've been very fortunate.) After dousing my mouth with strange tasting and mysterious elixirs, most of the pain was gone by late afternoon. But the swelling! My face is lopsided right now... but hey, it doesn't hurt anymore. I'm pretty sure I'm fighting off an infection but other than that, I feel pretty good. God, I hate dentists! I'd rather give Newt a bj than go to a dentist.
