After yesterday's false start (got feeling under the weather and missed work after my post) and some apparently much needed rest, it's time to start this again!
Looks like a fairly decent day for me. Got a trailer pre-loaded with eggs to take to Jersey Pride (one of our 3 plants in Elizabeth) for an 8:30 unload appointment and return with 2 loads of egg packing supplies. (A load consists of 20 pallets, 3 skids of flats and 100 divider boards).
Can't wait to see if they send me into the shit that Earl will deliver to the NY/NJ area tomorrow

So HA! I beat you all today. It's 2:40 AM and I'm UP. WIDE AWAKE. I just mopped the kitchen floor. Vacuumed the whole house and Matt hasn't even stirred in his sleep.
I can't sleep. I smell piss and I have no clue where the fuck it's coming from. I know the cat pissed in the kitchen but she hasn't done that and it was not stinky after I scrubbed it sanitary. The dog pissed a long trail of pee and I cleaned that up good too. I can't get the smell out of my head. I'm sniffing floors, walls, curtains, mats, rugs and everything. Nada. Zip. Nothing has any pee on it up close but I sure can smell it.
I took out the old fashioned rag mop and soaked the damn floor in Simple Green. It's drying now. I hope the fuck I got it out because I just can't bear that my house stinks! Bad enough the dogs are a chore keeping that doggy smell out. I don't need piss on top of it.

Well......at least Earl isn't going to give me headaches on the road today. Gotta do the usual Boyertown - Elizabeth but I get a bit of a change after. Gotta go to South Plainfield to grab a load back to the plant that's bound for Ohio on Monday. Dunno who will take it west but I know it's not me. (I really don't care for Ohio anyway)

OH god I hate that when I smell stuff and can't get it out of my head I drive LK nuts when I go on odor hunts tearing the house to pieces until I find or THINK I find and eliminate it... Good luck on the hunt oh your not alone.. for some reason I am wired and can't sleep myself... LK is off to work already and I have a sick daughter at home with an ear infection today so it's off to the doctors..

I found the source. Febreeze extra strength OR the "mountain fresh" scent of the stupid laundry soap. I washed the curtains on the sliding door and these are those heavy black out kind. I thin the smell clashes with the fabric and creates this stench. I doused them with Febreeze and the smell is overbearing now. Once this bitch Earl passes, I'm going to put the curtains out in the sun to bake. That should do it.
Olfactory hallucinations. I like that. It's almost as if the smell is stuck in my head no matter what I do. I was wide awake until 4 dwelling on this.
