RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twilla - 11-05-2011

A guy on another forum tries soooo hard to sound intelligent and comes up with sentences like this:

" inform me just how much I expect no response by the part of quite alot of other people ..."

I don't think I've ever seen someone torture the English language quite this painfully and that included a crazy Greek woman back when MSN had chat rooms.

Oh brother. Is it a good place to troll just to bust his chops? Giggle

Does anyone call him on this effort of pomposity?

It's FG and they'd probably welcome you with open arms. And yeah, several people have commented on his lack of coherence but he just tells them to read it again slowly so they can understand.

Drinks Giggle

Went to a lovely All Saints service at church this evening. Took mum and her neighbour, Barbara. There was a lot of people attending. Anthony invites families he officiates at a relatives funeral.
The service is to remember them and a candle is lit for everyone and the cards with the persons name is left on the alter. It is pretty with all the candles and the sun setting on the oak tree in the window of the church, so eventually the only light is candles.

Anthony came and found me after the service to let me know that although I had put Elma (my mother-in-law) and Christine on the same card. My mum had put Christine too so had 5 other people.

Brilliant News! Yahoo

The boss received a phone call today from the Nursing home we serve. They had an inspection by the PCT (the local NHS governmental office) and got the all clear. The inspector also inspects Pharmacies (he inspected us at the beginning of the year).
He said 'Don't tell the shop but they are the best Pharmacy in the area.'

Of course Tina wasn't going to tell us, until he had left the building!

*Also a bit of gossip
One of our nightmare drug addicts (rumour patrol informs us) was found dead in his room. OD'd on Saturday. No one is sorry for this one.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 11-09-2011

Junkies are better off dead. Don't feel too bad for him.

Glad to hear your pharmacy is the best. If I'm ever in England I know where to go for prescriptions! Giggle
