This year the cover got blown away from the side. It's a kidney shaped pool and I would love to get one of those hard covers. When I priced them they were about 1000.00 last year. One more vacuum and it should be fine.

Our pool has green all in it too. We don't have a cover for it in the winter so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. We just keep scooping the leaves out in the fall until the water freezes.

A cover makes a huge difference. If we close the pool properly with all the chemicals and procedures, we have a ready to swim in pool two days after opening.

Our pool is ready in two days as well. Throw in the chemicals, vacuum and go swimming!!!

Even with the green water? When I was a kid we had a pool and it turned green a couple times and we went through hell getting it clear again. Algae is a bitch to get rid of. I guess the chemicals now are a lot better.

Dodged a bullet today. My friend wanted to come over and hang and I just have too much to do for company and I want to get a bike ride in. It's friggin GORGEOUS out, no humidity and a lovely cool breeze. I cannot pass this opportunity to ride!

Monday. It's a little chilly now for swimming here. I'm hoping it warms up over the weekend.

That's funny.
There is a hair place in a small town we drive through called "The Scissor Sisters". I am sure there is not alot of people in that podunk town that know what that means. Next time I drive through there I will take a photo.
