FINALLY! The sun is out and it's a nice non-humid day
Got an early vet appointment with Daisy for a check up and I am going bike riding! Damn thing has been sitting in the shed for a month, it's about time I got a break and got out there on it!
Found a great app again for my phone that tells me every park in the area/nation and what activities are allowed. So many parks on the list I used to ride the horses in and I know the trails and terrain and length well enough that I can use them to get fit and gain mileage gradually.

It is slowly trying to stop raining here. Yesterday was actually kinda nice. I was gonna ride bike in to aerobics class this morning but it was raining again.
Also tonight (if it's not raining) I am supposed to go riding with the cycling instructor from the gym and her group of pals.
I used to call her the bike nazi. Wish me luck.

The weather turned for the worse here. I'm stuck inside.
but on a good note, two gals from the vet office love Daisy's leash. I'm going to set the shop online up again to sell them since I'm stuck inside.
And now, I need $1300 for THIS!

Yeah, I know but - Just the chance to hang with him for a few minutes, front row seats in the stadium and all that swag - and those celeb swag bags have some primo stuff in them, is all worth it to me if I had the dough to put out and "waste".
Had I known this was going to be around, I'd have cheaped out on the Frampton tix and taken this as our "treat" for the year!

Dats an assload of cash for a show!
I just got back from a long distance trip. Left Thursday just after midnight and got back at 7 this morning. I went out to Ohio so far I was just 2 air miles from the Indiana border to pick up cracked eggs. I ran 1039 miles round trip so it pays a nice zone 7 amount. Sure beats the hell out of the zone 2 I make for a standard NJ run. It was a nice change from running back and forth to Elizabeth.
Although I have no problem sleeping in the truck I still like being home at night.

Hells yeah, it's gotta be like sleeping in a camper or a tent for the night, it's OK in a pinch, but nothing beats your own bed.

Plumbing project delayed again
Got more of my fittings but ideas popped into this pointed head of mine. Matt has the truck so a trip to HD is out of the question. I now await two elbows and a 6' piece of copper.
Have any of you ever heard of Shark Bite snap on plumbing fittings?
These things are FANTASTIC! You can snap them on to plastic, copper PEX, PVC anything and they can easily be removed as well!
I was fretting having to sweat pipe in the spot where the outside faucet is due to the tiny cramped area and it's all wood. I get jittery when playing with very hot fire in wooden boxes. This stuff is great, no fire, no solder no flux, no sanding!

That shark bite stuff looks cool. I need to move up to something like that next time I have a project, hell, I still use galvanized pipe. I bet those fitting are expensive too.
