RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 10-20-2016 That's crazy shit!
RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 10-21-2016 Too warm to keep the windows closed. Too cold to keep them open. Too damp to move. It's so damp / humid everything that is made of paper is "mushy" right now. I can't decide if I should turn on the heat or the AC for 20 minutes to take that dampness out of the house. Had to close windows because of the rain but I just can't stand how everything is all sticky too. decisions decisions... RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 11-05-2016 Today is a good day for a Rockabilly Uprising. Pictures later. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 11-08-2016 Did you people vote yet? Getting ready to go get Matt at work and head over now. Then go out for Sicilian rice balls for dinner
RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Biker Dude - 11-08-2016 I voted like 2 weeks ago. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - twisteroo - 11-08-2016 I voted like 2 hours ago.
RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 11-08-2016 Biker, you vote early every time, don't you? We just got back. The woman taking our signatures didn't like the way I signed my name. It is exactly the same every year. She's the SAME woman taking names every year. This year she has issues with my signature. "Are you sure you want to sign it like that?" Yes. WTF? RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Biker Dude - 11-08-2016 Yep, early every time. They send us our ballots, I am thinking they send everyone their ballot. Fill it out, drop it off whenever. So easy, I don't see standing in lines because I couldn't do this. I am guessing not everybody gets to vote early? RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 11-09-2016 (11-08-2016, 11:53 PM)Biker Dude Wrote: Yep, early every time. I am guessing not everybody gets to vote early? No, it depends on your state. Here we have to apply for early voting and have a good reason why. If you live in a major city, lines are always ridiculous. We rarely have lines. Our polling station has only 2 booths for each district using the facility. 2 districts shoved into the local rec center and 4 booths. We waited on line for 30 seconds. The most we ever waited was 1/2 hour some years ago. I'm enjoying the grief and fear. Everyone has built up this gigantic boogyman image of Trump. I see this as a fresh start and I also see this as an example showing that like our Constitution says, ANYONE can be president. This guy can't be bought. He has NO favors to owe. Granted he has ruffled a lot of feathers and there are plenty of morons who actually believe he can order nuclear attacks on a whim. He's going to get to the White House and see, just like every president before him, what a genuine mess is there and just exactly what is and isn't possible going through the list of priorities. If ever this was a fresh start to be had, well this is it. The next 4 years will be interesting. If we don't like it we can fire him in 4. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Biker Dude - 11-09-2016 Buddy of mine said it didn't matter who won, they would end up impeached. Just the time frame varied. |
