RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 06-15-2012

I just spent an hour messing with a new browser again. Stupid Firefox for Mac and Safari won't work on a lot of sites. Verizon is one of them. I get so far to pay and then the send payment button just does not work. Nashbar is another one that throws all kinds of errors trying to log in. A lot of sites also do not render properly in either one, which is really weird since Safari should.

I don't like Safari because I can't get rid of cookies. It's a known and purposeful problem, so I avoid it.

This Omni Browser is nice, I just have to get used to using it.

I know people misunderstand written communication a lot. Humour confused with anger. Sarcasm often lost....irony...but I seem to be having an especially hard time of it round here.

LOL NOW I get your 'sarcasm' from the other page. Sometimes the brain isn't awake the same time the body is. Thank you for the slap.

Am I missing something?

No1 son and Karen have gone to the cinema...again. They have been out all last weekend and were sat opposite Mark and I on the internet booking campsites in Cornwall for a holiday (with other friends of course, they kept reminding us)

As they were leaving the house I overheard Karen on the conversation of children's names and how there was no way No1 son was going to have any say in using car names like Porsche and he was saying how these names were girls names to start with...........and no she cannot drive his car, she will scuff the alloys.

wot

Omg. He is still with her? Talking about children and he has no say? She sounds quite pushy. Better tell him to double wrap his willy with this one!

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 06-15-2012

Better yet - convince him to dump her.

LOL! Giggle He isn't 'going out' with Karen. This is Christine's friend she went night clubbing with. Karen's mother asked Christine to 'keep an eye on her' since she wears her heart on her sleeve and boys can really mess her about.
She has become his surrogate sister. They squabble and support each other regulary. She recently got dumped by her latest boyfriend (by text- the creep) and failed her driving test all in one week.
Dee popped by waddling past the front room to the front door. She is now 6 months into her pregnancy (confirmed twin boys) and Karen saw her.
Phil' mentioned he wanted loads of children and started listing names he liked. Karen said she didn't want to look like 'Teletubbie' now she had finally got into the size 8 leggings Phil' bought her at Christmas.

A strange conversation right in front of Dee and myself and his father. Doubt if they will actually get together, but when they haven't got a partner, they spend a lot of time together doing 'dating' stuff.
Today Phil' finally got the parts for his motorbike and Karen had another driving lesson. After which they went into Bournemouth together to try a new Retro cafe called Flirt and 'shopping'.

They are cycling 25 miles together on a charity ride for the British Heart Foundation (if anyone wants to sponsor them- Karen is actually doing 60 miles this year, but Phil's legs still cause to much pain to go the 2nd stage this year)

David my boss, sacked the Saturday Girl today.

He apoligised she wouldn't be coming in. He sacked her at 3am when she came home with 10 'friends' after a house party and they stormed around the house making loads of noise (one lad entered his bedroom put the lights on and started going through the cupboards- he said, looking for a pillow)!

If her father sacked her, what are her career chances now? wot

*I'm afraid after David stopped seething and I made him a strong black coffee, we both laughed like hyenas about it.
