Here we also use swamp coolers. In all those high humidity hell holes you are stuck with AC.

Ugh, fans. I have ceiling fans but it was just so hot but low humidity. What happens this time of year is that it's really cool overnight and I turn off the air. During the day it gets so hot I need to turn the air on until around 9 PM and then open windows again or it's going to be roasting in here overnight even with windows open. It's weird.
I got the AC fixed after two trips to the supply house. Got that spray gunk to clean the coils again. Why 2 trips? Because like an idiot I trusted the dope who works there to get me the right stuff. $75 for 4 cans of crap to clean the PAINTED bits to make it nice and shiny. I don't give a shit about shiny. I want cold air coming out of there. Got the right stuff for $30 cheaper. Thing is, I told him exactly what I needed it for.

It's still nice here. Until yesterday it was still pool weather. Closing it this weekend though.
Went to see a friend's band Saturday afternoon and his wife was sick. Heard her say that after she hugged me. And now I'm sick. NOW Matt realizes why I hate touching other people and that huggy-kissy bullshit is nothing more than spreading misery to everyone else under the guise of friendship.

Yep, re-surfacing. And the whole thing not just patches. Fucking HOA. Two years no maintenance, it was like a Bolivian mountain highway.
Still very nice here. mid to upper 80's. down into the 50's. The other morning it was 44. Labor day is when most pools close here. Ours did.

never fails. every time I let someone hug me hello or goodbye I get sick. My entire weekend is ruined because I don't see whatever I have right now going away by then.
