Oh, I didn't just play with it, I disassembled it. I had a bad case of magpieitis when I was a kid.

Shiny things caught your eye!
We had a crow that did that in high school. Cosmo. He was someones pet and he was allowed to fly about the neighborhood. Cosmo was legendary.
He'd pick the pockets of any kid take things out of your hand and if you had a shiny object like a necklace or bracelet, that bird was going to try to take it!
Imagine the looks on our faces when we met him for the first time. We were in the woods getting high.
