Ok, but I will look. I just don't have the truck today, as it is 80 out today...

RE: Help me decide - Twitchin Kitten - 10-10-2016

Pfft! It barely hit 60 here.

The back of the center console lid cover:

Yeah, that looks like that foam I'm talking about. Careful with that stuff. It' starts to disintegrate over time. Are you covering cloth or vinyl? Regardless, just check them periodically when you wash the covers. I had these on cloth seats on the truck and that shit fell off in 'crumbles' and got into the nap on the velour and was nearly impossible to get out.

It is the other side of the neoprene, not foam of any kind.

OK.

That cover came today Smile Really lightweight and I sure hope it's waterproof like they say. I sprayed some water on a small spot and it soaked through Dodgy

It's got a lifetime warranty so I have confidence they will make it right if there's a problem.

Well, this is a huge disappointment. it's far from waterpoof like they claim. Plus it does not fit like I expected it to. Seems to put a lot of pressure on the mirrors even though they have pockets for them. The front seem across the cowl doesn't seem right. Too tight and it looks like it's going to rub the finish. I"m going to have to call them today.

I wonder if I could find out where NHRA teams get their covers? I KNOW theirs are waterproof and fit all varieties including the pro-stock cars which are awfully close to the street versions.

Ima see what I can find!

Here's one that I've seen in the sportsman pits, Covercraft.
http://www.covercraft.com/us/en/vehicle-covers
You can customize them with choice of fabric etc. Not cheap though.

I've also seen some of these stock covers from Jeg's around the pits (pro and sportsman)

After a bit more research I found out that Covercraft is where most of them get what they use for everything from sportsman racers to the big nitro guys. Only dragster covers are completely custom ordered and the low buck folks opt for the Jeg's covers.
