Those cowboy boots don't travel very well. Over here if:

a family man's wearing them, someone bought them for him on a trip the US (or worse they bought them after a drunken Stag Do in Las Vegas)
If Children wear them they are 'sweet'.
I wear boots, ankle boots with jeans although the last two pairs (always one pair in brown and similar in black) have dropped to a 2 and a half inch heel. The knee high are 3, in black with a fashion buckle on them- Italian leather- so soft. Half price in the winter sale at £85! High heels are doing my knees in

You'll never catch me in high heels. They kill my feet and I'm so spastic trying to walk in them!
Cowboy boots with a riding or walking heel are perfect.
Start a trend Trudi, wear them everywhere and tell people it's the new fashion and act like they're idiots that they've not heard.

You still have a pair of those? My grandmother had a pair, told they'd help her by her doctor. She wore them once and thought her back was going to split off at the hips so she gave them to me. Friggin things felt like I was walking uphill all day. They were awful shoes.

I almost bought my pool pump on e-bay after it shit-the-bed 10 days ago. But decided to buy it local. Some things are better bought at home.
No shipping crap and I can just bring it back when the thing dies under warranty. In the end it's cheaper. I just hope it's ready for the 4th........Imma slavin.

I get my filters off there. I pay 1/4 the price for a cartridge filter than what they want locally. I don't think I'd buy a motor though, you're right, too risky.

Only see Harley riders in those. Ray a friend with a Harley has a similar pair to those. I've seen some women wearing them at Bike Night but they usually also have a girl on the pillion
(I actually think they are ok, if they did my size I may get a pair, better than the bike boots I do have)
