RE: Meet my new kitty - Twitchin Kitten - 04-24-2011 There is only one type. They are related to bears. I gather you don't have raccoons in the UK? RE: Meet my new kitty - Rhubarb - 04-25-2011 Nope! Seen some in a Zoo along time ago when the kids were small. Never saw a groundhog until we visited last time. My Dad's sister had one living in her garden and we watched it for hours. My uncle could be heard pleading with my aunt to be allowed to go to Walmart and buy a gun. Then there was that Skunk flat in the road on our way to see the Cass Railway......... ![]() I think we will stick to our hedgehogs and ferrets....Thank you ![]() RE: Meet my new kitty - twisteroo - 04-25-2011 Today Rocket it outside, I was gonna go close the door up on him, but Patch is inside now and I don't want to have to toss her out in the rain. RE: Meet my new kitty - Twitchin Kitten - 04-25-2011 You named him! He's yours. You know it. Just admit it. RE: Meet my new kitty - Twitchin Kitten - 04-25-2011 OH and I think there is some kind of oral rabies vaccine. Might want to check with the vet about that for him and slip him some in a nice pieces of chicken or cat food. RE: Meet my new kitty - twisteroo - 04-25-2011 Nope, he is kinda stinky and bitey. He gets locked out next chance I get. RE: Meet my new kitty - Jamminitin - 05-02-2011 I hate racoons. A thousand years ago a roomie of mine had one. Bastard was MEAN!!! RE: Meet my new kitty - twisteroo - 05-03-2011 Oh yeah they are mean, I had a big fat one squeeze through a chain link fence and try to tear my face off when I was a kid. I locked Rocket outside for a few days and have not seen him around in about a week. Every time I see one smashed out on the highway I kinda wonder though. Maybe that bum back leg........I knew I shoulda fixed him up with a set of back wheels like the do for crippled dogs and cats. RE: Meet my new kitty - twisteroo - 07-02-2011 Rocket sighting yesterday morning. Old Rocket it alive and well and still getting fat on my cat food. His leg injury must be permanent though as he is still gimping. RE: Meet my new kitty - Twitchin Kitten - 07-02-2011 That's cool that he's still around. He's probably hanging around because of his leg. He knows where to get food easily and stay healthy for when the other raccoons pick on the gimp. |
