I don't collect....it just sort of turns up.
Mark collects owls, or has a collection that people give him as presents. Oh, and car parts.......
Christine had a special collection of Mini models, limited stuff mostly, she kept it all in a shoe box, so Mark has bought a cabinet for some of the nice stuff.
No1 son collects VW camper stuff (not the full size thank goodness!) Oh, and motorbikes
I do have one or two special things more mementos than collections. A Norweigian Troll brought back on Marks last Winter Army tour, Saabastian-an Elk toy from the Saab Museum in Trollhatten, a cold virus, No1 son bought me as a Christmas present (a fluffy one!) and more trolls, from my friend in Norway, when ever she visits! I have a whole family
she brought over last trip.

I have a bunch of avon perfume containers froM the 60's and only one is really worth anything that is the black volkswagon bug. One reason much of the Avon stuff is not worth much is that Avon sold the molds that they used to make the things to another company, they in turn started making new stuff with the old molds, rendering them virtually impossible to tell the difference between the old/new ones. before the 80's you could get decent money for them but today they are basically junk. The only reason I keep mine is I KNOW they are old but how the heck do I prove it?
