We have a snow covering on the ground now. It started about an hour ago.
36 degrees outside.
The radar shows that the snow will pass and then turn to freezing rain then normal rain so we'll have a slushy mess till enough rain falls.

It's overcast, muggy and chilly 43º here. I had windows open all week.
I knew crap weather was coming two days ago when I woke up with a headache. (I need to find a headache smiley!).
Twist - I see those lake effect snows up by you and I am so glad I never lived up there. Goddamn! I just love the country and it's gorgeous upstate, but I cannot abide by that much cold and snow. Where Matt lived in Michigan, they didn't get the lake effect like you guys get and they got three of the Great Lakes. We get bombed down here every 6 years or so with a 3' deep blizzard but it melts within the week it falls. We got bombed last year so this year we should have a normal winter.

Today I'm going to attempt to install windows 7 on an old computer. The one my mom gave Matt croaked the other day. We need to fiddle with that one to get it to start up. We think it's a matter of bad RAM.

I need to make some backup discs for my windows 7 the factory image shows that there is no memory left and this thing is less than a year old it takes over 5 min to get into my e-mail and yesterday 3 hrs to watch a youtube video. I wanna shoot this thing.

We get lake effect here too... I can actually see the Great Salt Lake out my apartment window so you can imagine the winds that hit the side of my building. Thank god for my cold blooded neighbor downstairs, my apartment is always toasty without even having to turn on my heat.

Add more RAM and you should be fine. Max it out to as much as the thing can possibly hold.
Damn Vizzy and Dylan for going off on us! I sure could use Vizzy's hand holding today.
Dylan should be around soon. I hope he's alright, I haven't heard from him in three weeks.
Twilla, upstairs is the way to go in apartment living if you like it warm in the winter. You get everyone's heat! I miss having an upstairs in my house. I'm by the beach here and surprisingly, it's not as windy or cold as I thought it would be.

I love zombie movies and I've been looking forward to seeing The Walking Dead, a new TV show... but now that I'm watching the first episode, I'm hesitant to see the rest since they introduced a horse into the story. I KNOW that horse is going to end up zombie food and I just don't have the heart to watch that. I'm fine watching humans get killed in movies but I'm heartbroken when they kill animals. He's such a nice horse, too.
