RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - LKTraz - 07-04-2014 (07-04-2014, 06:16 PM)TenFour Wrote: i like yuengling black and tan or lager in a bottle or draft. never had that canned type. Most people more than 50 miles from the brewery really never had Yuengling Premium. It's the variety that MADE them. Black and tan is nothing more than a pre-made version of what many old men did for themselves at the bar. They mixed premium and porter 50/50. Lager is just a DARK version of premium. All Yuengling beer is a lager. (As opposed to a pilsner) Cans are easier to deal with than bottles thus the popularity of them close to the brewery. I live 18 miles from it. You may want to try and find their ale....Lord Chesterfield. It's very good! TO the person looking at it. Well, this is correct. It's cute, I can make the 'wings' on the back of the P flutter ![]() That area hurt like hell! OMG it hurt so bad that it went numb and I couldn't feel a thing. Then it swelled up the size of a golf ball so I iced the hell out of it and it's just a little puffy now. There was a kid getting inked after me. A dragon on his arm just below where my sun is. He puked. ![]() He looked really woozy when we walked out. We went up so I can get measured for a sleeve and we both walked out with ink. (07-04-2014, 06:57 PM)LKTraz Wrote: You sure you wanna walk around NYC with a Flyers tattoo? Yes. Matter of fact, the guy who did Matt's ink today is from Philly. It was nice talking hockey in NY with someone else who likes the Flyers. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - TenFour - 07-04-2014 thats not what i meant just nevermind. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - twisteroo - 07-05-2014 Ha, 530am, McDonalds, free coffee refills. Annnnd, McDonalds don't have a bad cup of coffee. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 07-05-2014 Where ya at? RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Biker Dude - 07-05-2014 (07-04-2014, 07:19 PM)Twitchin Kitten Wrote: Yes. You mean something like 'it was nice talking with someone who is also resigned to the continuing mediocrity of the Flyers'. Right? RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 07-05-2014 Pretty much. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - LKTraz - 07-06-2014 *reminiscence* Oh for the days of the original Broad Street Bullies. That aside........lovely day outside today. I think I'll take advantage and fire up the tractor to whack the ever growing jungle that is my yard. I have a tree that went down from a storm so I'll grab Mr Poulan and hack that up as well as knock off the remaining 3 feet sticking out of the ground where it broke off and over the course of the summer I can dig around, expose the roots and lop them off then hook up a chain and tear the stump out. To round out the day I think I'm gonna fix the pickup on my Epiphone (magnet issues) and then it's beer thirty! RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - TenFour - 07-06-2014 ![]() rare pic of me clean shaven RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 07-07-2014 Did a bunch of your friends come over with razor blades and scrub brushes? ![]() Soooo did everyone have a good weekend? It was awesome weather on the east coast and Sunday was the only day I spent home. Was in the city Friday, picnic Saturday and we lounged poolside Sunday. I was very surprised that Friday was so active on this site by all of you! You all are so 'quiet' all year and the one day I expected this place to be dead was hopping. ![]() |
