No, I only have acorn and buttercup, the butter cup is yummy but not much different than acorn, acorn seems to cook up easier. Better shape to fit in the pans and cuts easier. Next year is will probably be all acorn.

How much different could butternut be than any other squash?
Let me rephrase that, how much differnent could it be than acorn or buttercup squash?

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 10-05-2010

A lot. I mean zucchini is a squash and it's nothing like the ones you're cooking. So yeah.

Um no. I was answering that question directly. Did I miss something? Have I lost my freakin mind completely today? Crazy

I rephrased it to say is butter nut that much different than buttercup or acorn?
I don't really know, I don't know if I've ever had butternut squash.

I've been told the bath water is at Goldilocks - oh goody I hate it too hot!

Slow day around here today. Went for a ride and rode until my legs burned. Stopped at the "hut" in the park office and picked up two volunteer applications.

They're getting ready for the Terror Walk on the 16th. Would you believe they have volunteers hacking roots that are barely sticking up out of the ground on the path for these 'people' on this walk? I mean really! I'd hardly call any of the roots problematic and why do people expect perfect footing in the freakin' woods?

Shot the shit with the park worker and some lady who had a pit bull running in the sand and water and then rode some more.

Friday's Matt's birthday and we've got tickets to see the King Tut exhibit in the city. Maybe we'll stop at Bobbie's on the way home and MABEY - just maybe we'll get lucky enough to hail the Cash Cab while we're in the city!

That'd be cool wouldn't it.

I couldn't fathom taking a cab. I've done it I think twice in my life. I also would shoot myself before having to take mass transit on a daily basis. We live out in the country and it's a 7 minute jaunt in any direction to get to a store.

What is bobbies? A resturant, a bar?

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 10-06-2010

Bobbie's is my friend Bobby. We would visit him at his house.
