So, this basically useless guy at work that sleeps at his desk, takes long lunches and leaves early when he's supposed to be on overtime has been politicking for the next lead position. He's the kind of person that visits the supervisors to let them know he's on the job and he'll take care of any problems while the rest of us are actually at our desks taking care of the problems that he later takes credit for. He also has the least time in and definitely has the least knowledge.
Weeeeeelllll.... the person that's in charge of the leads and was going to interview for the opening had a serious health issue and won't be back to work. There went all his hard work and long office visits with her. But he was really jazzed when he heard that the supervisor above her would be interviewing because he's spent years sucking up to her and she really likes him. However the guy that is taking the first woman's place and will actually be the supervisor of this position sits in our area and knows what a bad actor this guy is. And he's demanded to sit on the interview panel.
I'm an asshole for gloating about this but this guy has been announcing for months that he's next in line for the position. He's the least qualified, for god's sake! That attitude is maddening.
