Can't do that with this one. It's a California King waveless mattress. If we did it your way, I'd ruin the mattress guts. Besides that, the heater is quite long and needs to be dead center, there is no way to roll that huge thing back and get it under there correctly. I can't have it on any of the board seams and I have the mattress inside of a quilt liner.

We're all filled now and heating up Smile

I wish I can start the day over. The bed is the only thing that has gone right so far.

I spent the morning cleaning cat puke all over. Sofie got that pill down and it's working. She barfed up a pile of worms. Barf Top it off, she barfed them up on the wheel of Matt's computer chair. Lovely. Nooks and crannies of puke and worms.

My stomach is twisted from that. No food in me yet.

Mikki will not eat. She's sleeping in the sun now. Hopefully she'll eat later. Sofie is now a glutton. She cannot get enough food and if she so much as smells something, she's "purrgling" and mewing and being all kinds of cute begging for food.

Goliath is whining and crying all morning. Poor old dog has to pee like every three minutes. It's nearing his time.

I dropped a can of cat food. Barf so I had to clean that up. Sofie helped.

All I wanted to do today was my personal beauty shit. Then maybe loaf around a bit and go for an evening ride.

OMG-when we got our softside waterbed, we were not given complete instructions on how to fill it. We ended up taking it back to the dealer because we did it wrong and all the guts got twisted around inside. I can't remember exactly what we did wrong, but I know it involved the bed being full of water and us trying to move it. Crazy

Speaking of cat barf.
The other day there was a pile of cat barf in the driveway, and there was a whole mouse in it.
I mean who the hell eats a mouse whole? What does one of they cat's think they are a snake or a pelican or something?

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 09-08-2010

I dunno Twist.... my cats usually just leave me the gutted body and they eat the guts and head.
One year when I had the farm, it was dubbed "the summer of mouse heads" because I kept finding only mouse heads all over the property!

Jammin, I can't believe they didn't give you instructions on filling that thing! You couldn't get it to drain flat or anything I gather? The soft sides are tricky, you have a bladder in the middle of a hole and you gotta fill it just right. The soft side with tubes seems to be a bit easier.

I still like my hard side. It feels like a big warm hug when you sleep.

I remember what is was.

We filled the bed and all was fine until I saw I didn't put on the dust ruffle. Instead of draining the bed we "thought" we could just pick up one half and slide it under to the other half. Well, the bed slid off onto the floor and we were like fricken Laurel and Hardy. We partially drained, took it back and they sorted it out.

The stories I could tell about the ridiculous shit that we have done with home projects, cutting trees down, hauling cast iron tubs down a set of stairs etc.

I work-out so my husband thinks I am like Arnold Schrwrazzenegger (sp) or something. He is always telling me "Hey can you grab that end of the couch/tub/bed/car?" etc. I told him he needs to get a friend.

I tell Matt the same thing. It seems our friends are always not around when some project is started or heavy lifting is involved.

I once dropped a kitchen stove down my basement stairs.Hysterical
Oh sure, it's funny now.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Jamminitin - 09-08-2010

What happened to the stairs?

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - twisteroo - 09-08-2010

The stairs faired well, a couple of gouges is all, the stove was junk anyway, and I about shit myself.
I was bringing it up the stairs by myself. I did get it on the second try.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Jamminitin - 09-08-2010

And here I was assuming you were going DOWN the stairs with it. It would have been much easier if you were. Biggrin
