yep literally millions of small mammals are killed by farm equipment every year. vegans will say but i buy organic, you reply right because all organic food at the store comes from small hobby farms and not large scale operations that barely meet the usda standards to label their food as such...

Yup Yup the farm My father worked on was small in the grand scheme of America Orchardist standards however, during the time, spraying was its peak. The man he worked for ended up with horrible skin cancer they never did determine if it was all the spray he was exsposed to or the sun. A few years ago my father also had a small patch of the stuff. Again they would not say what caused it. I am not quick to judge. I find it funny that MOST of the things we spray for make our apples ugly not inedible. There are a FEW things that we actually spray for that are related to tree healthy and production that would just stop us completely from producing enough apples from trees to make it worth while to grow them but besides a few parasites and those few other diseases most of it is eww thats not pretty. Bruising during picking makes more apples inedible than the ugliness. Which is more irritating than any other problem I have seen and that is more maddening than any other problem. Miss handled fruit or produce pisses me off in the market place which makes me a pretty difficult customer to please when shopping.

this is why every orchard owner has a cider press, i used to get paid 50 cents a bushel and other would get yellow jacket stings but i was lucky there

One member is kicking off as a veggie that it should be removed from the menu.
He put a video up of a meat rabbit in a farm and I thought- wow they have a much better life than pet breeders animals-and said so.
It has caused up roar and said member says we shouldn't eat what we aren't prepared to kill.
I've cleaned most types of game meats so I think I qualify for this meal.

Suggestions how to put this idiot down?

Thought of buying a DVD of Cloudy with Meatballs for the raffle

Trudi, tell the guy to piss off while you're munching happily on a hunk of meat. Hand him a bowl of dandelion greens you picked from the lawn you're standing on and tell him to enjoy the food he just deprived the rabbits of.

Let them know that plants feel and cry too. Truth. Study was done decades ago that plants are living creatures. They may not be sentient, but they are living.

Anyone who wants to save animals should stop driving their car.
