RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 11-01-2013 Neither. Just go have a look. Some of the tea recipes I use are from my gran's own jottings from WW2- fruit cake is wonderful made with tea RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - twisteroo - 11-01-2013 So let me get this straight, you are saying that I can just dump some shit in hot water and call it tea? I mean it sounds like you are telling me to go pick some maple leaves and grass clippings, and possibly throw a walnut in for good measure, steep and enjoy. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 11-01-2013 As long as it isn't poison or turns to poison upon boiling, yeah. Matt Killed the truck. He's sitting at the entrance on the Manhattan side of the Holland tunnel waiting for AAA. Ugh. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - TenFour - 11-02-2013 Close but you'd get a little more from say some sour grass and chickweed, and on a maple not so much leaves as that greenish strip of secondary bark under the outer layer, which is where the most easily digested and highest calorie content of that tree (as well as most others) is found. Pine tree needles can also make a medicinal tea in a pinch that helps with headaches. You said that would happen one day RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - BarEdul - 11-02-2013 Did he choke it or shoot it? Thats a scary thought and I hope to god he didn't get it towed too far sigh. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - BarEdul - 11-02-2013 Hollistic healing stuff is cool for tea. I use a nasty little tea calle Pau D' Arco to heal all kinds of crap its good for fungus and as an anti biotic and fixes stuff doctors give up on. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 11-07-2013 I am so freakin' bored today. Rainy. chores all done. Nothing... not a damn thing to do. |
