Somehow I logged out or deleted cookies or something, I had a hell of a time getting back in this morning. It appears that I had no idea what my password was.Fool

Monday morning feeling Scratchead

Rotten weekend, we had to bury Cosworth last night, poor little chap Sorry
The worst was while No1 son began to make a hole for his little coffin, the others all came and watched Sad from their pen.

Barclay has a new tactic to aviod the antibiotics, make sure your mouth is full of food! Devil

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 07-19-2010

Went for another 2 1/2 mile bike ride and now I'm off to go swimming to wash off the sweat!

Can the piggies eat molasses? If so, you can make a mush with a molasses base and put the antibiotics in it. I used to do that with the horses and they'd lap it up clean every time. Make just enough for him to eat in one gulp and separate him to give it to him. The molasses kills the taste.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Rhubarb - 07-19-2010

Yes piggies can eat molasses. I used to use Malt Extract for the babies and Venus their mum Speedy (dad) love it too with a bit of brown bread.

Barclay had accepted the routine now. He has been very good, but all the boys are very subdued at the moment. Cosworth was the one who whistled for breakfast and no-one has taken up the mantle yet. Thinking of put the 'Berlin Wall' up again in the big hutch so Cooper has the company of Stratos. Cooper has never been a lone pig before.

I don't know your piggies, but I am sad for them none the less.Sad

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Rhubarb - 07-20-2010

Thanks Twisteroo. I know they are only rodents, but they are 'family'. Without them I'm not sure how the last 18 months would have held up for us.

Out smarted Barclay tonight- Ha!
(Did he stomp about muttering when he went back to the hutch, Abarth gave me a look of 'I've got to try and sleep with this grump pig tonight- thanks mum)
