How do you ruin 4 hours of tranquility in less than 24 hours?

Decide to become a Domestic Goddess.

'Where's the bucket gone for the mop?'
'I threw it out, it leaked' Shock
'Really? I could have taken it back to the shop I bought it last Friday, I still have the receipt'
'What new bucket?'..............

'What colour is the lampshade in our bedroom suppose to be?'
'Dunno- why?'
I've just washed it, thinking it should be orange, it isn't'

'How does the vaccuum work again?'

'oh- there you are. Did you know the guinea-pigs are setting up a War Council in the garden? Four have escaped.........what are you doing?' Dodgy
'FaceBook' Blush

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 06-27-2013

My dog turned into Marley all of a sudden. What was once a good, well behaved dog has turned into an obnoxious, dirty thief. She constantly breaks into the the back room where the litter box and cat dishes are, steals Sofie's food off the shelf, and last night, she stole Matt's lunch pail, UNZIPPED it and stole the tupperware containing what was left of a bologna sandwich. Top it off, when she steals, she takes it to her 'stash' under the bed! She left the bag of fruit of course. What was funny is that she carefully unzipped the bag ( i say it was already unzipped but matt insists it was not) but destroyed the tupperware to get the sandwich.

And now the constant begging for cookies too. It's like every time we catch her eye she's grabbing our hand to try to drag us to the jar or she does her stupid dog dance and smiles until we give her one. I'm not buying another box until she stops this bullshit. How do dogs decide it's time to forget all their training?

I'm playing with my net book today and I typed google into bing and I think I broke the internet.
I can no longer access google. Sorry

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 06-28-2013

You're better off. Google is the devil.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - twisteroo - 06-28-2013

What's better than google?
I also cannot open firefox and it won't let me uninstall it either. Bastards!!!

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread II - Twitchin Kitten - 06-28-2013

Blame Google.

How can you not uninstall it? Did you try rebooting and then fix the issues?

Too damn hot here
(at last)

Took the camper up to our favourite campsite this weekend. Felt some what guilty since No1 son looked like shit. He said it was a summer cold and preferred we buggered off (his words).

The campsite has been tarted up a bit more Sad the all weather area is fully complete and now houses a club house providing food and local beer. There is a new wash block (a bit clinical) and an office - instead of the farmers wife's utility room at the farm.
A rather buxom young girl was manning the desk £8.60 she quotes (Mark is still waiting for me to go back out to open the gate). Hmm- gone up a bit since last year.
£8.60 per person not per unit! Shock That is new!
Then she tries to put us in the family field
'Not near the play park- pleazzze, we like it quiet, unless you are putting us on a hard standing pitch I want to go through the gate to the lower fields so we get the sun in the morning. By the donkeys?'
Lots of paper shoveling- ok but there will be just as much noise, the long barn field has 2 parties booked in it.
Don't Mind Don't Mind- just not the play park.

Said parties? Happy Birthday was sung at about 5pm to 'Young William' (who turned out to be 5) and the other all piled into various cars and went out. Since they got back so late not only did we not hear any of them, their cars were locked out side the gates, so they had to walk in.

Young William and his mates were all bombing about in pj's but it was lovely to hear them (still in bed ourselves) at about 7.30am. They were gone 9am when their parents arrived to take them all away. No sign of the other lot when we left at 11am. Kicking out is Noon on site, and we were heading for the market for cheese and fruit and any other bargains (nutmeg and Italian bread and a travel bag*)

*Hopefully just right for our trip TK

I am bringing back short shorts due to this heat. Far more comfortable than what's "acceptable" for men's shorts, even though they are men's shorts. Besides, they have Rhodesian camo patterns on them so its OK.

Also, I just put a gun on layaway, and I got straight A's for last semester.
